The Important Things in Life

Today, on this 7th anniversary of the 9/11 tragedy, I was sitting outside on my lunch break in the sun. It was one of the first calm and quiet moments I have had to myself in a while. The weather was perfect. The sky a stunning shade of blue and the breeze just enough to let you know that fall is sitting and waiting right around the corner.

As I sat in silence I thought about all of the amazing things I have in my life. All of the things I am thankful for and grateful for. A list that is miles long. My life is good.

Just as we learned 7 years ago today~ life as we know it can change in an instant. Choose your battles, concentrate on the present, what you have, what you cherish, and live every minute being the best possible person you can be.
